The SL-902 post-stroke orthosis for the hand effectively controls excessive muscle tension in the arm. It holds the extended arm in an optimal intermediate position, preventing uncontrolled tension in the finger and wrist flexors and reducing the risk of deformation in the hand area.

Also, using the SL-902 orthosis several times a day for a few minutes in combination with active rehabilitation can effectively reduce the risk of spastic post-stroke development of the hand.
